Digital marketing is on the rise, with mainstream and direct-to-consumer brands adopting a new way of selling their goods. In reality, over the last year, 66 per cent of the brands analyzed in a Gartner study in 2018 had started using a social trade feature.

Yet it’s a relatively recent phenomenon and there are many advertisers still deciphering how it blends into the growth strategies of their brands.
